This is a device imported from Japan or the US. Therfore, Sharp Germany will refuse any repair and costomer care.
But our Distributor has set up a repair an service facility in Germany where your personal device (identified by serial number) can be repaired.
The most common repairs have been dents of displays by people sitting on their Zaurus :-( and devices falling from the shirtpocket to the floor.
No really defective devices have become known so far - Sharp has a very high Japanese quality standard.
So, if you have a real or suspect case of warranty:
This is a device originally manufactured by Sharp for the German market. Therefore, the standard warranty terms of the EU apply and you can access Sharp Germany directly. The official warranty management partner of Sharp is
- contact us as the final reseller first
- we will arrange that you can send the device directly to our Distributor (located in Germany)
- he will return directly to you
- depending on the outcome of the analysis (warranty) we pay their repair cost
